DBE TECHNOLOGY GmbH reported on the German state-of-the-art in disposal of spent fuel in salt formations at the European Nuclear Conference (ENC 2010) in Barcelona (Spain)
The European Nuclear Conference 2010 (ENC 2010) took place from 30 May to 2 June 2010 at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. This conference was organized by ENS (European Nuclear Society) in cooperation with AEN-NEA (Nuclear Energy Agency), SNE (Sociedad Nuclear Espanola), ANS (American Nuclear Society) and IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency). ANC-conferences are counted among the biggest events on the international nuclear industry’s calendar. ENC 2010 was a unique networking event for scientists, nuclear industry representatives and policy makers, who could consider and discuss ideas and innovations that will drive the technological developments of the future. Key themes of ENC 2010 included state-of-the-art research and development in areas such as:
